Pricing questions, answered
What does one credit generate?
Written books use 1 credit per chapter, 1 per rewrite, and 1 per cover. Other book types show their AI cost before generation. Briefs, outlines, listing copy, and manual edits use no credits. Exports and publishing use no credits but require active Pro.
Do monthly credits roll over?
Your 100 monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle; unused monthly credits do not carry forward. Top-up credits never expire and are spent after your monthly allowance.
Do top-up packs unlock exporting or publishing?
No. Packs add generation credits only; buying one does not activate Pro. Exporting, publishing, creating more books, and removing preview branding require active Pro: $29 per month with 100 monthly credits.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep Pro until the end of your paid period — including your remaining monthly credits, exports, and publishing. After that, your books stay safe and existing public pages stay live; you just can't export, publish changes, or generate until you resubscribe. Top-up credits never expire and survive cancellation. Cancel from the billing portal — no email required.
Do I own the commercial rights?
Pro includes commercial usage rights under our Terms. Credit packs add generation credits only; they do not activate Pro.
How is AI disclosure handled for KDP?
Exports include AI-disclosure text by default. Review it and answer each store’s disclosure questions when you upload your book; EarnDraft does not submit those answers for you.
How do payments work?
Checkout and subscriptions run through Polar, which acts as Merchant of Record — sales tax and VAT are handled for you. We never see or store your card number. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the Polar customer portal.
Is there a refund policy?
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and stay active until the end of the paid period. Unused top-up credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. If a generation fails, it never costs you a credit — only completed AI operations consume credits.
